On a wet and windy November morning in Brixham.
With no crowds, no tourists, just myself walking along Breakwater beach, climbing over the rocks and watching the waves eat up the pebbles as the tide slowly comes in. Then, just when I am close to freezing, return to the harbour, order a pint and a pasty in the local pub and savour the local atmosphere, whilst thawing out. Michael Lyon
