Before You Die: Sail in the Southern Ocean. by Tom Kay

Sail in the Southern Ocean. The equivalent of a maritime Sahara, you feel the insignificance of man when faced by the awe-inspiring forces of nature. Periods of calm and beauty are viewed with suspicion, as more than likely they are soon to be followed by equally beautiful episodes of violence and chaos. When you’re through the other side, however, walking along a warm, cafe-covered street, feet once more on terra firma, you’ll smile at yourself and really feel as if you have seen all that nature can throw your way.
