Before You Die: Saigon on a Sunny Morning by Bradley Winterton

It’s a sunny morning every morning in southern Vietnam from November to April. Humidity is relatively low, too, and with the resplendent architecture left behind by the French, the largely two-wheeled traffic, and the almost total absence of American fast-food chains, this is one of the nicest places I’ve found to wake up in. Somehow or other it manages to be picturesque, smiling and cheap, all at the same time. Bradley Winterton
