Before You Die: the Oldest Red-Light District in the World by Sean Thomas

Spend time in Gion, Kyoto, Japan, and arguably the oldest red-light district in the world. Walk down the wooden streets of the town at sunset and if you’re lucky you might see a white-faced geisha hobbling to work in her kimono and wooden shoes.
