Vourneen currently resides in Dublin, Ireland where she lives at the door step of the Guinness Brewery. She is educated to a university level with several qualifications, including a Diploma in Tourism Management & Marketing.
Vourneen has travelled extensively throughout the world and has lived abroad in London, Prague and Amsterdam. Published articles on her global adventures have appeared in the Irish Times and Backpacker Magazine.
She also has over 7 years sales and marketing experience in the tourism and travel industry, working for national tourism boards, leading tourist attractions and tour operators. During this time she has edited a national tourism publication, created copy for various websites, ezines, brochures and marketing material.
Her speciality and passion is in travel writing and she is also a member of the International Travel Writers Alliance.
