Inspiring Travel Writing from Tina Walsh

Tina has been a journalist for nearly 20 years and started out on trade magazines, where she became an expert in industrial widgets, motherboards and fuzzy logic. One gadget story too far and coming first in a travel-writing competition in the Evening Standard kick started her freelance career and shes been writing about travel and lifestyle (and some serious stuff) ever since. Her work has been published in The Guardian, The Times, Sunday Times, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Independent and Sunday Herald, among others. Shes also a contributor to Dorling Kindersleys Eyewitness Guide series. Tina has lived in London, Munich, Istanbul and Rio de Janeiro and is currently based in Leeds, which for some reason reminds her of the sign above the nail bar near her old south-London flat, which read: "Paris, New York, Milan, Catford".
