Inspiring Travel Writing from Rosanne Turner

Rosanne Turner has recently relocated to Thailand – the Land of Smiles – and is relishing the adventure. Prior to moving to Koh Samui, she lived in Hermanus, South Africa on the Cape Whale Coast, famous for its land-based whale watching, where she was involved in the tourism industry and co-owned several accommodation establishments.
A few years ago, Rosanne rekindled a childhood passion for writing and combined it with her love of travel. She creates articles for travel sites and publications including the Holland Herald (KLM’s in-flight magazine), Explore SA, GoTravel24, Hamba Kahle, Experience Overberg, Morning Calm (Air Korea’s in-flight magazine), Smart Holidays, and Travel Intelligence.
She has not let her atrocious sense of direction deter her from travelling the world. Her journeys have taken her through Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands (including Madagascar, Zanzibar, Tanzania, and the Transkei), and to the Far East (including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand).
Rosanne prefers to see the lighter side of life when travelling, viewing things from a different angle; her articles often have a tongue-in-cheek approach. Read her travel blog, (www.travellingpen.com) and share in her discoveries of all things Eastern, curious, or extraodinary.
