Inspiring Travel Writing from Paul Rouse

Mediterranean in tastes and temperament, fate dealt Paul a cruel early blow when he was born in Derby.
He recovered however, and has now been a full-time journalist and editor for over 25 years, heading up leading UK and international titles in the travel, food, property and luxury retail markets. He has lived and worked in the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and is the author of Classic Locations, a contemporary travel guide book to Oxford.
He currently contributes to a wide range of publications, including Meetings & Incentive Travel, The Robb Report, and the inflight magazines of easyJet, bmibaby and Brussels Airlines, and has launched Inspirations Algarve, a twice-monthly e-zine guide to the region.
Paul lives in Portugal with his wife Kate and travels extensively both for work and pleasure. His first screenplay, based on events leading up to the war in Iraq, is currently being optioned.
