Nicholas Mellor's travels started on a cargo boat, travelling through the Suez canal and across the Indian ocean to Australia. A career as a management consultant with breaks as a relief worker have taken him from the richest parts of the world to the poorest. In 1993 he set up Merlin with a group of friends. Merlin works in areas of conflict or following natural disasters providing life-saving healthcare. Merlin has worked in more than 30 countries in the last 10 years. Nicholas's articles range from corporate health to refugee health. His hotel reviews cover some of the finest establishments as well as some of the most exotic places to pass a night.
