Inspiring Travel Writing from Louise Pyne

Louise Pyne

Louise Pyne is a freelance lifestyle journalist based in London. She has lived in Dubai for three years working as a health & beauty writer and travel contributer for the UAE’s best-selling magazine Ahlan!, an award-winning celebrity and lifestyle weekly. During her time in Dubai she also wrote regular features for Jet Set, the Gulf’s glossy travel magazine which focuses on top-end luxury destinations and chic hotels. Using the Emirate as a base she has explored the region extensively. Louise has also worked as part of the editiorial team on Grazia, (both the UK and Middle East versions) and Closer, one of Britain’s leading consumer titles.

Fluent in Italian, during 2001-2002 Louise spent the year in Bologna where she taught English alongside undertaking courses at the local university. Firmly bitten by the travel bug, following her time abroad she spent one year jet setting around Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Her obsession with travel continues, and she plans to move to Singapore in the not so distant future.
