Inspiring Travel Writing from Kamin Mohammadi

Kamin Mohammadi is a writer, journalist, broadcaster and commentator based in London where she moved after leaving Iran as a child. She is also a travel writer who has contributed to travel books by Cadogan Guides (Spain, Portugal, the Algarve, Sicily and Sardinia), Dorlin Kindersely (London) and Lonely Planet (Iran). In addition, her travel articles on the Maldives, Iceland, Egypt and Tanzania have been published by publications in as diverse as Geographical magazine, WEXAS Traveller, Impressions magazine, Harpers and Queen in the UK and BEE magazine and Washington Flyer in the US. She writes hotel reviews, a spa review column and also works as a health and beauty editor.
She also specialises in writing about Iran, particularly modern society and has had major stories published in UK publications such as The Financial Times magazine, The Times, The Mail on Sunday and the New Statesman as well as appearing on various British radio programmes as a commentator on Iran. She is writing a book to be published by Bloomsbury in 2008.
