Inspiring Travel Writing from Joanna Monkhouse

Joanna has a degree in Arabic from the University of Edinburgh. Her attraction to languages has fuelled her life-long passion for travelling. Currently to be found teaching yoga in Amsterdam, she lived for a number of years in Yemen, Cairo and Paris and has travelled widely in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Joanna was a Travel Intelligence staff member 2002-6, running the Amsterdam office. She is an expert on Moroccan riads.
