Inspiring Travel Writing from Hal Peat

After spending most of his student days in locations as far apart as Jamaica, Brighton, Germany and New York, freelance journalist Hal Peat migrated onward to Los Angeles where he spent most of the eighties and nineties doing everything from advertising copywriting to writing on film and entertainment for journals like Cineaste and Jump Cut. He began his travel writing with a short adventure trip to Sedona, Arizona in the mid-nineties and since then has written on destinations within the western and southwestern US, Florida, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe for print and online media.
