Inspiring Travel Writing from Anthony Healy

Since 1992 Anthony Healy has worked as a freelance journalist and writer in South East Asia, travelling extensively through Asia and working in Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia.
In 1995/6 he worked as a columnist on the Eastern Express and interviewed people in all walks of life, from movie stars Bruce Willis and Charlie Sheen, statesmen Warren Christopher and Chris Pattern, to refugees in detention camps and soldiers fighting in northern Cambodia. In 1997 he worked on the documentary series, 'The Royal Court of Thailand' for the BBC and was an associate producer for National Geographic Television. In 1999 his first play, The Pitch, had its world premier at Dublin's Olivian Theatre and he completed his first novel, You Should Have Been an Irishman.
