Anthony Toole

Writers bio:
Anthony Toole was born and brought up in the English Lake District, where he has walked and climbed throughout his life. His particular interests are in writing about the outdoors, including hill walking and mountaineering, conservation issues, nature reserves and national parks.

He writes frequently about the North of England, Scotland and Ireland. His travels have taken him to Norway, the Italian Dolomites, Lanzarote, Madeira, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Australia, about all of which he has published features in a wide variety of British and Irish publications, both print and online.

In 2005, 2006 and 2007, he won Awards for Excellence in feature writing from the Outdoor Writers’ Guild.
