Writers bio:
A decade ago, Juliet Kinsman was at the helm of a couple of dance music magazines, but having long since traded dancefloors for do not disturb signs, her work lets her spend a lot more time in bed. So it is, Juliet is increasingly au fait with some of the most special hideaways around, thanks to editing the Mr & Mrs Smith hotel guide series and writing city profiles through to well-protected travel secrets for a wide range of publications, including Time Out, Sleeper, InStyle, The Observer and numerous women's mags and celebrity titles.
Born to a Canadian diplomat and a British polyglot, a nomadic lifestyle from the get-go gave Juliet a taste for travelling. Childhood stints in Africa, America and Canada, followed by a teenage existence in the home counties and then a degree in Social Anthropology left her yearning to explore more colourful parts of the world. Despite countless foreign affairs, and spells living and working in New York, Greece and India, Juliet remains faithful to Blighty, and adores exploring its countryside and celebrating the cosmopolitan qualities of her hometown of London.
