Its name coming from the Latin, meaning 'Here you will be well', this hotel is something of a discovery and is ideal for the medium to lower price range. A cute and inimitable establishment which also used to be a clinic (although you would never know), it's a good-looking burgundy building with white pillars on the corners and matching white-framed windows. The quaint restaurant has an excellent menu with culinary classics. The rooms are basic and not huge, but they are neat and pleasant and there's a simple charm to this intimate hotel. It's centrally located, just up the hill from the Davoserhof hotel, run by a charming young couple who pursue a serious collection of cuckoo clocks, to remind one that this is Switzerland, after all.
