Le Centenaire by Jamie Dunford Wood

Swanky Relais & Chateaux hotel somewhat out of place in prehistoric Dordogne. Uncomfortably perched on the junction of two country roads entering the prehistoric mecca of Les Eyzies, the Centenaire makes much of its 4 star restaurant in an area where every restaurant worth its salt should be ‘4 star’ without saying as much. Inside, the décor is somewhat overdone, with swanky staff and jaguars parked outside. The luxury décor seems out of place in the Dordogne. If you do stay, get a room on the garden/pool interior side, not on the road.
