Hotel Saint Paul Le Marais by Jamie Dunford Wood

The hotel is a well located three star in a popular area lacking in good choices. The main attraction here is the air conditioning for reasonable rates - the hotel is friendly and family run. Corridors however are tatty, and it could do with some smartening up.

The rooms

28 rooms. Standard rooms are small, but most have wood beams (except some on 3rd and 4th floors) which gives them plenty of character. Furnishings are in heavy, dark wood, bathrooms small but pretty. If you can afford the extra, upgrade to a superior - at least two of these have mezzanine sitting areas and jacuzzis, and they have plenty of space.
