Owned and run by the Belgian music entrepreneur Filip Eyckmans, Enfrent Arte brings a new concept to the hotel industry. When you arrive you are shown around the hotel and told to make yourself at home. The coffee machine, wine, beer, squeeze you own orange juice, buffet breakfast and lunch are all laid on with no extra charge. Resident chef Encarni González prepares homemade Spanish dishes including tortilla and grilled king prawn salad. Rooms are large with four-poster beds and white marble and mahogany en-suite bathrooms. Free use of internet, swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, games room, music room, television and video room all included. Look out for the “fuente de los ocho caños” opposite the hotel - this beautiful public spring was once used to quench the thirst of passing horses.
