In the public spaces there is an oriental feel - prints of ancient Thebes in the bar, alongside striking back and red colour schemes and dark wood panelling. The reception is marbled and lighter.

Upstairs the rooms have smallish bathrooms, but more bold colour combinations lend them a style and elegance lacking in similarly priced business hotels - blue, anis and fuschia jostle with lime green.
