Hotel Bleu Marine Victoria by Jamie Dunford Wood

The Hotel Bleu Marine Victoria is a simple hotel with character and a lovely garden in a town of variable standards. It’s a lovely old townhouse a couple of blocks from the sea, with rather tasteless but inoffensive furnishings (recently renovated, unfortunately), some large rooms, and a quiet aspect onto the garden behind. ‘Calm and charm’ is how they promote it, which is about right. Tarifs are very reasonable, but don’t expect luxury. Bathrooms are basic but functional. Room 1 on the ground floor is the largest, with a lovely view onto the garden.
