On the Place Batha, close to the medina and souqs and directly accessible by car, the Hotel Batha has 62 rooms that open off a modern central courtyard. Each is clean with a/c, ensuite bathroom and television. The restaurant serves both Moroccan and International cuisine and log fires create some atmosphere on chilly winter evenings. Along with the ‘Churchill Bar’ it is located in a building that was the British Consulate until 1989. The pool is open only to hotel guests. Hotel Batha caters well for tour groups and individual travellers on a smaller budget, offering a reasonable standard of accommodation at very reasonable prices.
