De Witte Lelie by Ken Scrudato

Tales circulate of couples changing their wedding dates in order to include the De Witte Lelie in their honeymoon plans. And while there is no hipper city than Antwerp, there is also no more passionately realized hotel in the world than this glorious conjoinment of three 17th Century Belgian townhouses. With just ten rooms, anchored by a serene garden courtyard, the De Witte Lelie is more curated than designed by elegant proprietress Monica Bock, tasteful modern furniture blending seamlessly with ornate, antique fireplaces and opulent, baroque chandeliers. The hallways and lobby are graced with original works by Miro, amongst others, and guests are treated to an exquisite selection of ports, chocolates and fruit in their rooms. Heaven, without all the messy repenting.
