The facilities

The executive hub comprises business centre and exclusive Club Lounge on the 45th floor, while fitness and relaxation are available to all in the health centre and swimming pools with stunning views including Jacuzzi, infinity, plunge and lap pool with underwater speakers. The spa offers innovative and traditional Eastern treatments, such as the use of organic ‘Just Pure’ products according to phases of the moon. Taichi sessions are available twice a week, adding to the fusion of East and West reflected throughout the luxury hotel. In the French restaurant, a catwalk divides the Old Shanghai décor from its western counterpart dripping with chandeliers and in the Chinese venue, chopsticks are complimented by dinner plates mirroring the abstract patterns of the setting sun.

The rooms
The 399 rooms include 54 suites and come in a choice of minimalist western design with muted shades and wood and fabric wall panels or contemporary Asian style sporting bright colours, brocade and sculpted furniture. Size is generous, 45m² minimum, wall to wall windows look out to the harbour or Victoria Peak. Each room is equipped with plasma screen TV, sitting and work area with wireless internet connection. Decadent marble bathrooms are equally spacious with double vanity unit, infinity mirrors, glass-walled shower, deep tub and L'Occitane toiletries. TV fans will appreciate the built-in LCD screen while soaking in the bath.
