Mallorca Guide: Overview, Hotels & Travel Writing

Mallorca

About Mallorca

Mallorca is a destination of two halves with cheap resort hotels on one end of the scale and seriously high-end luxury and boutique hotels on the other. Artists, poets and musicians have flocked to the biggest of the Balearic islands in decades past, but now it attracts millionaires, models and megastars.

We've travelled the length and breadth of the island and sought out, on the one hand the most exclusive and lavish luxury hotels in Mallorca, and on the other, a range of smaller, more intimate places to stay (amongst which a handful of ultra-stylish boutique hotels in Palma stand out particularly). Beyond just great accommodation, though, we've found the best restaurants, beaches and boutiques and compiled an at-a-glance guide to what to see and do on your trip to the island.
