The facilities

Fusion Maia is rich with deluxe amenities, including two outdoor pools, sprawling tropical gardens and of course, the immense spa. The spa includes 16 treatment rooms, a yoga studio, beauty salons, Jacuzzis, separate steam rooms and saunas for male and female guests, and a chic pool with a gentle waterfall. Fitness, meditation, tai chi and yoga sessions are offered in spa workshops, as are sessions for tea appreciation, and salt-scrub and aromatherapy oil-blending classes.

Breakfast - which, like the spa treatments - is included in the room rate and can be served anytime, anywhere. For other meals, the Five restaurant offers modern fusion cuisine with fresh, local ingredients prepared in an open show kitchen. Fresh, the poolside restaurant, offers fresh juices, salads, seafood and pizza al-fresco and in the open-air dining room.

All 87 private, open-plan villas at Fusion Maia feature enclosed courtyard gardens with swimming pools. The decor is graceful and understated, highlighting relaxation and privacy.
