The Planters Inn is rich in history as it stands on the former site of the first parsonage of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. John Wesley first came to Savannah in 1736. It was here that he was given this site to form the "Established Church of Georgia."

The Inn's 60 guest rooms are all individually decorated in the finest fabrics and Baker furnishings. Our guest rooms are all accessed from quiet interior hallways, and offer four-poster rice beds, period furnishings, private baths, in room coffee makers, and hairdryers.

Each morning, guests may enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast served in our penthouse hospitality suite overlooking historic downtown Savannah. Upon returning from the day's events, you may also enjoy our evening wine hour where guests mingle in our elegant lobby.
