The facilities

Signature restaurant Le Caprice, modelled after its famous London sibling, is due to open in September 2010. There's a more laid-back eatery, 2 East, for light meals and afternoon tea, plus a chic cocktail bar for evening drinks. Small pets are welcomed with complimentary room service for dogs, pet bed and even step-ladders for for easy access to their humans' bed.

The rooms

Each of The Pierre's 189 guestrooms share the same classic and refined style as its communal areas. Antique repros, toile fabrics and crown-moulded ceilings feature heavily, whilst down duvets and Italian Fili D'Oro linens made from 100-percent Egyptian cotton are a luxurious touch. All rooms are stocked with Molton Brown toiletries, and the twice-daily housekeeping includes evening turndown with flower petals and a weather forecast.
