Ace Hotel New York is a 12-story hotel in the heart of midtown Manhattan near the Theater District. Interiors designed by New York firm Roman & Williams feature mixed vintage furniture and objects from different eras to produce a decor that has both unconventional adventure and nods to tradition. The hotel is built around collaborations and connections with local designers, artists and businesses: the people who make cities interesting. There is a subway stop right around the corner, and it's within walking distance of many popular destinations, like Times Square, Macy's, and the Broadway theaters.

The facilities

The hotel boasts a hip lobby bar, often bursting with music from live DJs. The ground floor houses Stumptown Coffee and No. 7 Sub Shop for food and drinks, as well as the Breslin Bar & Dining Room, owned by April Bloomfield and Ken Friedman. The menu at the Beslin is meat-centric and focuses on the seasonal products of small farmers and artisans. The hotel also has a gym and a large event space, Liberty Hall, that plays hosts to fashion shows, corporate meetings, weddings, gallery shows and live concerts.

The rooms

The 260 rooms are simple, but have rich, varied furniture and decor. Some have chalkboard walls, vintage record players and claw-foot tubs, and others have french doors leading to large bathrooms and views of Broadway; all have soft beds, en suite bathrooms, wood floors and fully-stocked minibars.
