The facilities

The sumptuous spa at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas is a Forbes Five-Star award-winning, 27,000 square-foot masterpiece of therapeutic treatments and stylish surrounds that evoke the luxury of 1930s Shanghai. Along with holistic treatments that fuse techniques from East and West, the spa boasts 17 treatment rooms, a hammam, steam rooms, a laconium, vitality pool and an ice fountain. The spa also houses a dedicated yoga studio and a Technogym-equopped fitness centre.

On the eighth floor, a pool deck offers stunning views of CityCenter and two heated lap pools, two Jacuzzis and a plunge pool. Children are welcome but a designated quiet area was instituted with adult relaxation in mind.

Arriving at the 23rd floor Sky Lobby, you’ll be greeted by expansive views of the Vegas skyline. Dark marble floors lead to multiple restaurants and the exhilarating Mandarin Bar, both of which offer some of the most glittering views in Las Vegas. Michelin three-star-rated Pierre Gagnaire is the executive at Twist, an exquisite modern take on classic French cuisine. The more casual MOzen Bistro offers a showcase of sushi, Indian and Thai dishes served in a personalised bento box.

The rooms

392 guest rooms and suites offer interiors designed by the renowned Adam D. Tihany, each with warm and comfortable furnishings and subtle Asian touches. All rooms feature a 42-inch LCD TV, iPod docks and plush 480-thread-count sheets, and many boast floor-to-ceiling windows with impressive city views. Bathrooms are separated by frosted glass that allows in natural light, and are equipped with a second 15-inch TV in the mirror and stocked with Aromatherapy Associates products.
