Disney's Polynesian Resort is themed around the South Pacific, a charming and laid-back slice of Polynesia in the heart of Orlando. It boasts a white-sand beach, thatched roofs, swaying palms, koi ponds, volcanic rocks and more than 75 species of indigenous vegetation, the perfect family-friendly retreat.
The facilities
There's two restaurants, one serves grilled meats and seafood, one American fare with an Asian twist. Two outdoor pools, a kid's club and playground keeps the little ones happy, and there's a lovely spa area for the grown-ups.
The rooms
Each of Disney's Polynesian Resort's guestrooms share the same South Pacific theme as its communal areas. All have queen sized beds at least, plus internet access and coffee making facilities.

Very family-friendly. Babysitting can be provided on request, and there's a Never Land kids club (for those aged 4-12) and children's playground.
Eating in
A choice of restaurants. Make room for a character breakfast at Ohana's with Lilo and stitch, which turns into a grill and seafood restaurant by night. For something more relaxed Kona Cafe, for American cuisine with an Asian twist.
