The imposing peach and orange facade of The King and Prince Beach And Golf Resort is situated on the largest of the Golden Isles, St Simons. The facilities

The Royal Treatment Cottage is the resorts luxurious treatment and therapies facility. Housed in a quaint historic beach cottage on the resort grounds, the sounds of the ocean are just a few metres away.For anyone wanting to avoid any extra holiday pounds there is a fitness centre, an award winning golf course, two clay tennis courts and not one but five ocean front pools including an indoor one and a hot tub. For those wishing to experience the island, the hotel can arrange anything from a kayak trip to a sunset boating tour. You'll need at least a fortnight to enjoy it all.

The rooms

With 198 rooms and suites, The King and Prince have a pick and mix of accommodation. Guests can choose between Ocean view or resort view rooms and between private patios and villas. Dramatic wooden headboards, patterned carpets and floor to ceiling windows create a feeling of exquisiteness and space whilst accents of colour in the fabrics brighten things up. The Historic Main Building is the hotels centrepiece and containing a large chunk of the resort's rooms, whilst the Oleander and Oglethorpe buildings are much smaller.
