The facilities

68-86 Bar and Restaurant serves a comprehensive Modern British menu with organic options. Decor is sleek and contemporary, with blonde wood and high-backed chocolate chairs. 19th-century design influences creep in every now and then: deep red feature walls jazz up the restaurant, and oil portraits and an ornate fireplace grace the lounge area.

13 meeting rooms and a location neighbouring Olympia and Earl's Court means plenty of business clientèle. The Vanderbilt Suite is the most impressive boardroom, with restored dark wood panelling and stained glass windows, but all have updated AV equipment and the option for private dining.

The rooms

Heritage influences are more apparent in the 215 guestrooms. All are kitted out with traditional-style wooden furniture and regal upholstery, which gives rooms more than a hint of chintz in some cases.
