Review of Radisson Edwardian Sussex, by Julia Esser

Because it's a Radisson chain, you can't really go wrong. Unless, that is, you dislike the somewhat corporate air. Everything at the Radisson Edwardian Sussex, of course, smoothly and thoughtfully designed. The lobby-lounge, for example, is nicely laid out and provides everything you would expect, but does not boast a relaxing and welcoming charm. It's corporate and there is no escaping it.

All of the 101 rooms look much the same, decorated in shifting shades of mauve. Perhaps that personal feeling is missing, but the amenities are excellent (in-room wireless internet, movies, motion lighting and so on.) The hotel also provides two conference rooms and a business centre. An additional pro is that this Raddisson is beautifully located, as central as it gets, sitting just off Oxford Street and across from Bond Street.
