The rooms

The Victoria has ten rooms, individually decorated in different variations on the boutique hotel's 'seaside Victoriana' theme. Rooms are named Colonial, Raj, Holkham, Stone, Marsh, Attic, Moroccan, Wash and North Sea. There is also an Attic suite and three lodge accommodations on Holkham Estate: Palmer's, Cuckoo and Triumphal Arch. These unique converted follies offer more space and privacy than the rooms in the main building, and have a more contemporary interior design.

Decor at in the boutique hotel's main building rooms is pared-down but stylish, avoiding the gimmickry and unnecessary flourishes of many 'themed' hotels. Instead, the rooms' few well-chosen colonial focal-pieces go a long way; their impact enhanced by ornate Indian-imported furniture.
