Bibury Court Hotel, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
Hotel Overview
Romantic, tranquil and luxurious, the privately owned Bibury Court Hotel is a beautiful 17th-century Jacobean manor house set within six acres of landscaped grounds on the edge of the village of Bibury in the Cotswolds. Full to bursting with history and a timeless elegance, the hotel is a magical blend of antique furniture, open fireplaces and oak paneled walls that ping you right back to days gone by.
Take refuge in the gardens as you listen to the faint trickle of the River Coln as it runs through. Close by the towns of Cirencester and Cheltenham, there is plenty of stunning scenery to watch out for. Couples, families, weekend breaks - this is the perfect hideaway.
The facilities
There is plenty to do in this quintessentially English setting. Enjoy an afternoon cream tea on the sun terrace or devour a delectable lunch in the conservatory. Find a good book and retreat to the grand drawing room for some good old fashioned reading and relaxation. Enjoy a meander through the grounds and gardens taking in the varied collection of age old trees and floral spectacles or even setting up a fishing rod along the river bank. If children are present, there's plenty of space for them to run freely and play safely.
The rooms
The eighteen traditional bedrooms are individually decorated and offer different experiences. Opt for a room with a view looking out across the lovely manicured lawns or retreat to the room with a very regal Victorian bath. Pale pinks, reds and greens form the basis of the colour scheme and four poster beds, floral curtains and antique furniture dress to impress. Beautiful mullioned windows look out across stunning landscapes making a cup of tea in the chair by the bedroom window a delightful way to pass a bit of time.

The beautiful restaurant is the proud owner of two AA rosettes and is well known for using local, seasonal produce. Inspired lunch and dinner menus reflect regional produce at its best and a plethora of flavours leap out of the dishes. Dine in the drawing room, conservatory or out on the terrace in summer. Afternoon teas in front of roaring log fires are also an absolute must.
