The Elms is a historical country house hotel, built in 1710 by Gilbert White, an understudy of Sir Christopher Wren. With stunning views across the Teme Valley, it is a beautifully bucolic slice of rural England. The hotel is very family-friendly and boasts myriad amenities for children, from tennis courts to a kids club staffed with Ofsted-registered nannies.

The restaurant is top-notch, serving classic British cuisine that has won 2 AA rosettes; room service runs around the clock. There's a spa area, complete with indoor and outdoor pools, a steam room, sauna, Technogym and relaxing treatment rooms. The expansive grounds hold tennis courts and small pets are allowed.
