The Casa Dell'Arte is tucked away in a quiet location on Torba Bay, one of the prettiest spots in Bodrum. It brings a serious design aesthetic to this coastal retreat, with myriad artworks and specially commissioned pieces, most of them Turkish, scattered throughout. The hotel is split into two sections: the 'Residence' and the 'Village', depending on whether you're after intimate and homely, or something more independently-minded.

The facilities

The Residence's restaurant serves International cuisine to a high standard. Eating is communal-style, on a long table, which complements the boutique-esqe atmosphere. There's a great buffet breakfast served each morning, and the wine cellar is amply stocked. More laid-back eating can be enjoyed at the poolside, from the 'snack and bar' menu. For business travellers, there's a meeting room and all necessary facilities.

The rooms

Sleek and polished, with a neutral base of blond wood and white walls, that draw attention to the artwork and furnishings. Nothing is fussy or overwrought here; large windows make the best of that gorgeous view over the bay, whilst flatscreen televisions, pillow menus and king-size beds are welcome luxe-touches.
