Hotel Overview
Hotel Okura is a luxury hotelon the south side of Amsterdam's city centre. Located on the banks of one of the city's famous canals, the hotel boasts its own private jetty which provides access for water taxis. Although there are four restaurants, health club facilities and several shops, should you want to explore Amsterdam the cultural district is but a short tram ride away.
The facilities
With four very different restaurants on offer (two of which are award-winning), it is safe to say Hotel Okura is passionate about food. This is only further emphasised by 'Taste of Okura', a culinary centre where chefs show you how to cook the dishes you love. A health club is also on-site, with an indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage clinic. Okura's shopping gallery is on the ground floor, where boutiques sell anything from chocolate to diamonds.
The rooms
The luxury hotel has 301 rooms including variously-sized suites. The larger your room the more extravagant the amenities (mood lighting, flat screen TVs etc.), but all rooms come with internet access, 24-hour room service, marble bathrooms and a view of the city.

There's authentic Japanese cuisine at Yamazato Restaurant and dishes prepared Teppanyaki style, on a hot griddle right at your table, at Sazanka Restaurant. Le Camelia Brasserie serves international dishes from breakfast to dinner and there's gourmet French cuisine's at Ceil Bleu Restaurant. After that have a drink in the adjoining Twenty Third Bar to panoramic views of Amsterdam.
