The Anantara Phuket Villas are set in an elegant luxury resort on the island's Mai Khao beach. This is a tranquil location, set away from Phuket's bustling nightlife - the perfect place for a romantic break in Thailand.

The facilities

There are two excellent restaurants, one serving freshly caught seafood, the other Sicilian cuisine with a few Thai specialities. The Tree House is a beautiful drinking spot, accessed via a spiralling staircase that winds its way up an old Banyan tree. There's also a wine cellar and tasting room, stuffed to the rafters with fine old vintages.

The spa is sublime, and offers a range of treatments from therapeutic massages to bath and steam rituals. There's a gym, tennis courts, function rooms and a business centre on-site.
