The towering edifice of the Banyan Tree Hotel dominates Bangkok's skyline. Perfectly located near the capital's shopping, business and entertainment districts, and 40 minutes away from the airport, this hotel has it all.
The décor is extravagant and original, and the hotel is full of voluptuary statements. An uplit bamboo art installation is a focal point in the Spa's atrium. The main lobby is reminiscent of old-world Thai opulence. Big, bold features and the use of rich gold and bronze tones create an unforgettable impression of luxury. At no point, however, does the Banyan Tree seem over the top. The feel of space and grandeur is softened with simple layouts and clean lines.
Guests can look forward to an extra level of attention reminiscent of old-world style Thai hospitality. Special benefits are on offer to those staying in certain suites. Complimentary all-day beverages and cocktail canapés in the Club lounge and priority use of the deluxe spa treatment rooms are just two on a long list

From your suite at the Banyan Tree Bangkok, you can see in a glance the city's grid stretched to the horizon, interrupted only by the looping scrawl of the Chao Phrya River. The luxury hotel is just a 10 minute walk from the entertainment and shopping area of Silom Road and the Saladang Sky Train station and just 30 minutes from Bangkok International Airport.
The facilities
The Banyan Tree Club with its spa rooms and welcoming foot baths, shoulder and neck massage, makes this a favoured residence for business travellers. This luxury hotel boasts the highest spa in Asia. Here you can be massaged to within an inch of levitation, especially with its signature product, the Royal Banyan Treatment.
The Banyan Tree Bangkok's Saffron Restaurant provides delicious contemporary Thai fare at similarly stunning heights.
The rooms

Throw 4 million US dollars at a luxury hotel simply for refurbishment and you can expect the result to be a fairly lavish form of hyper-reality. A ginger and cucumber body cleanser, flickering candles, Thai prawn curry, rose petals in the bath and fragrant lemongrass tea all await guests' arrival to Banyan Tree Bangkok luxury hotel.

The Banyan Tree Bangkok has the tallest and largest garden spa (six stories tall) in the city, a rooftop pool and restaurant and three outdoor Jacuzzis.

Designed to revive and restore, the recipe pretty much works. The Banyan Tree Bangkok is a terrific sanctuary from the city. There are four types of suites in this luxury hotel, Deluxe, Club, Spa and Presidential, each with different built-in treats.
