The facilities
The luxury chalet is fully catered, offering exquisite candlelit dinners and a well stocked wine cellar with an à la carte wine list. A professional chef prepares breakfast and afternoon tea each day and dinner at the luxury chalet six nights of the week. The main dining area has a more formal atmosphere and opens out onto a large south-facing terrace. Chalet Solmai also offers an in-house masseuse, Turkish hammam and steam room to help guests recover from an exhausting day on the slopes. The main sitting room of the luxury chalet has a large log fire, a music library, ipod docking station, flat screen TV and an extensive DVD library. An office area provides a private desk and PC, and convenient wireless internet access is available throughout.
The rooms
All of the luxury hotel's ten guestrooms have large, comfortable beds and quality linens. The chalet offers two rooms which are ideal for children, both featuring two double beds and a single bed. Other rooms feature the unspoiled views from the South-facing terraces to the peaks and glaciers of France and Italy. Each room at Chalet Solmai has an individual design and comes with specific amenities like ipod docking stations, Roman style baths, balconies with views and exposed roof beams.
