Hotel Des Balances is a luxury establishment situated in the heart of old town Lucerne. Dubbed as the town's gourmet hotel, Hotel des Balances combines historical architecture with modern interior design. Something of a sight itself, the hotel shares its neighbourhood with several of Lucerne's other major attractions should you want to explore.
The facilities
The facilities here are limited but the hotel compensates for this with two particularly charming eateries and it's central location. Situated between the Fish Market and the Wine Market, whilst the Reuss River runs alongside, there's plenty to see and do within close proximity of Hotel des Balances. You'll find the Culture and Convention Centre and the Museum of Transport are within walking distance.

There are 57 rooms available here, decorated with an understated elegance and featuring contemporary design and furniture. Whilst the suites come with a view of the lake, a private balcony and whirlpool tub, all rooms are equipped with a mini bar, radio, cable TV, internet access and private bathroom with tub.
