Hotel Continental is a traditional four-star business hotel in Lausanne. It boasts good facilities for corporate travellers, but occupies a convenient position for leisure clientèle too, lying right opposite the main train station (which runs direct trains to Geneva Airport). The city's main shopping area is close to hand, as is the business district.

The facilities

There's a choice of restaurants. The Grill House is the place to head for steaks and seafood, whilst Le Boky specialises in Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. There's a bar/club on-site too, called Dancing Queens. There are four function/meeting rooms and a business centre.

The rooms

Each of Hotel Continental's 66 guestrooms shares the same classic Swiss style as its communal areas (and have been recently refurbished). All boast flat screen televisions, air conditioning, private minibars and safes, and pay-per-view.
