The Grand Hotel Victoria Jungfrau is a luxury hotel, affectionately known to locals as the 'VJ' (Jungfrau is the Swiss word for the Virgin Mary), that towers over Interlaken's main street. Priding itself on catering to all needs of their guests, this five-star hotel is committed to the highest level of quality, reflective of the taste of their guests. A modern-day glass atrium forms the reception letting in the magnificent views of the surrounding mountain scenery into the interior to enhance light. The décor is dramatic - flying gold angels, indoor fountains, enormous chandeliers, sweeping marble staircases and ornately carved ceilings - direct features of its period with a stately and traditional feel.
