Hotel Overview
Hotel Le Toiny is a glamorous coastal retreat on St Barts, popular with honeymooners and those in a romancing mood. Its small collection of luxurious villas is second to none on the island; think private pools, palm-fringed gardens and a world famous restaurant. Overlooking the Bay of Toiny and the Caribbean Sea, it occupies a quiet, unobtrusive spot, which makes it a haven for celebs and dignitaries.
The facilities
The restaurant, Le Gaïac, is superb, serving a chic fusion of French and Creole cuisine that is unmatched on St Barts. There's also a Serenity Spa Cottage, which provides an array of treatments - the locally-produced spa products Ligne St Barth are divine. Guests can also choose to have their treatments in their private villas.
The villas
Each of Hotel Le Toiny's 15 sumptuous villas are a lesson is absolute luxury. Each enjoys sweeping sea views and a fresh French colonial style, as well as little extras like snorkels and flippers. Private heated plunge pools and furnished terraces come as standard. The interiors come with wifi, flat screen televisions, DVD players and iPod docking stations.

Children
Children are welcome in the hotel, and those under the age of 12 stay for free in their parent's room. Babysitting can be arranged, and a special children's menu is available in the restaurant. Do be aware though, that the grown-up vibe of this place makes it unsuitable for boisterous families.
Eating in
The restaurant, Le Gaïac, is much-accoladed. It serves delicious Creole-French fusion, under the direction of Head Chef Stephane Mazières.
