Hotel Overview
Sant Joan de Binissaida is housed in an 18th-century manor house near the port of Mahón, on the east side of Menorca. With just 12 rooms, an excellent restaurant, acres of gardens and a large open-air swimming pool, it makes for the perfect bucolic retreat on this quiet Spanish island.
The facilities
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the area is stunningly beautiful, and Sant Joan de Binissaida has established itself there as a centre for agrotourism. There are plentiful walks to take in the surrounding hillsides along camí de cavalls, or horses walking trails. The boutique hotel's lands are made up of pine forests and wild olive groves, as well as grazing fields for sheep and the native purebred horses. The hotel also has a small vegetable garden that provides the restaurant of Sant Joan de Binissaida with top-quality organic produce.

The restaurant here is excellent, with organic produce supplied by the kitchen gardens. Traditional Menorcan cooking, prepared to an exquisite standard makes this one of best places to eat on the island.
