Palacio de San Benito is an exclusive bed and breakfast in Cazalla de la Sierra, within the northern mountain range - Sierra Norte - of Seville's Province. Originally a 15th-century church, the boutique hotel was once a stopover for pilgrims and the present owner's family played host to Philip V, the first Bourbon king of Spain. Today its atmosphere is that of a cosy private hunting lodge, filled with exquisite portraits and heirlooms from that period. Unique bedrooms feature liberty fabrics, fireplaces and tiny patio gardens and there is also a wonderful chapel, dining room and swimming pool that doubles as a fountain.

The facilities

This boutique hotel may be small in size, but has a lot to offer their guests. The restaurant serves a traditional menu, complemented with local wine, in a unique setting. Visit the music room to see the "Erad" piano and gaze up into the large dome. From the music room guests can enter the lodge, which is the ideal breakfast location at the boutique hotel. The library is home to a magnificent chimney made in Carraca marble. This is the room best designed to enjoy a good book or chat. Plush sofas and unique artwork make it easy to settle in. The patios are surrounded by water and plants making the outdoors of the boutique hotel even more elegant. Plenty of outdoor activities can be arranged for the enjoyment of all guests. Take part in horseback riding, hunting, hiking, dance and even painting lessons.

The boutique hotel has nine rooms each individually decorated to give guests a totally unique experience. Each offers a different sort of ambience and eclectic mix of antique furniture. Different paintings and engravings add the perfect touch to each room.
