Splendom Suites is a sleek and contemporary apartment-style establishment in Barcelona's Eixample district. It's within easy walking distance to La Ramblas and two of Gaudi's most famous buildings, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. The area is full of chic little bars and restaurants, though remains leafy and quiet; perfect for families and grown-up city breaks.

The facilities

A cafeteria-style eatery is located downstairs, serving light meals and snacks throughout the day. Each of the apartments has its own kitchen, so many choose to prepare meals themselves, or else venture into the myriad high-quality restaurants in the area. A Family Kit is provided for those travelling with young children, and includes a high-chair, cot and toys and there's a 24-hour reception on-site.

The rooms

Each of the Splendom's eleven suites and apartments is spacious and contemporary, appointed with high-quality furnishings from the likes of Philippe Starck. Each has a private balcony or terrace, separate living area and its own kitchen. Luxurious touches include a flat screen television, complimentary wifi and Korres products in the bathroom; the apartments are of course cleaned daily.
